There's a "new" bbq joint in Kansas City.......sort of. Smokestack BBQ on 89th & Wornall closed down back in December of 2011 after 25 years in that location. Two former employees of Smokestack BBQ have teamed up to open The Stack BBQ. It will be interesting to see how their menu compares to the previous one.

Did they reopen in the old location or someplace new?

In that same parking lot is a little place called "Cook Shack" that has the best pancakes in the city!  I'll have to do breakfast there and then walk over to "The Stack BBQ" for lunch!
