My wife picks winner based on the cities she likes more, or would want to visit more. Honestly, she does as good as some sports analysists on ESPN...but then, who doesn't?

I like Pete Carroll for his Fire & Energy and Payton For his Class and Professionalism so it's those two in whatever stupid Roman Number this is in the Super Bowl 

My NFL picks are about as unscientific as all of yours !  
I save my real skills for the March Madness of the NCAA B-Ball Tourniment.

I don't have a dog in this hunt, but I think that this week's winners will be GB, Atlanta, NE & Denver.

Well, With Peyton and his team out of the playoffs and Green Bay behind at the half, My day is pretty bleak.
I guess I will have to cheer for the Seahawks tomorrow, Hate Atlanta and don't care about the other game at all.

OK with no fanfare at all, on Thursday morning before the coming weekend games, Here's my picks ...made using my likes and dislikes, not due to talent and record of the teams involved...

Seattle (I hate all Atlanta Sports teams)

New England (by default, I don't care about either team)

AND... The King of the Hill after Superbowl---Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos !

The Ravens to WIN it ALL for Ray Lewis' last game of his career.
 
Kapernick just flat out RAN OVER and THREW over the Pack.  That kid has got some speed and skills.
 
49ers vs Ravens in the Big Show and the Rays (Rice and Lewis) will kick some 49er arse!

My emotions say the Ravens take it all, but an all west coast Superbowl would be a real novelty and would be a game to watch.

At this point all I know for certain is that neither the Houston Texans or Atlanta Falcons will be in the BIG GAME.  If either is, "Super Sunday" will be "nap time" for me.
 
A Baltimore - Seattle SB probably would be a 13 - 9 "snoozer", so for entertainment purposes only, I'd like to see the Pats v. the Niners. 
 
(For sentimentality I'd like to see the Ravens win it all for the great and spirited Ray Lewis and also for the wonderful people of Charm City, but somehow I just can't see Joey Flaccid winning "the big one").
 
In any case, the Super Bowl this year will have less interest for me than the next STEELERS draft.

Watching the end of the Falcons/Seahawks game, there seemed to be some questionable decisions made by both coaches.

In light of this weekend's game, I'd say that the 49ers and Patriots are top dogs.

I am so disappointed-every team I wanted to win, lost. However, based on food picks, I will go with biscuits and gravy.

Next Sunday doesn't look very promisining. There's one game where I'd like to see both teams lose & one game where I don't care who wins.

WOW a tough Decision! I LOVE  BOTH!!

Alas...........Crabcakes smothered by Baked beans is just not ON on the menu! So the Crabcakes go.  But those feisty little crabs do seem to have a way to annoy the bottom feeders that everyone once loved to hate and now are a gourmet treat, so who knows? The crabs are faster, but those lobsters just keep plugging along.

And GAWD......don't get me started with Grits smothered by Ghiradelli Chocolate.........Shivers at the thought

Some people are wondering why grits are so popular...they can be rather inconsistent, ranging from thick and strong to soft and weak over a 3-hour period.

Well in my neck of the woods, it is illegal to kill and roast Eagles; we just let them get buried and go get another cheesesteak
