Just tried posting picture today.  First I signed up for a Flickr account.  I then downloaded free Flickr app for my iphone.  I used this with my yahoo account and it synced in via Safari immediately.    This was pretty seamless and had it all finished and picture uploaded in less then 5 minutes.  Now I am attempting to upload to Roadfood and I  am having problem.
Not sure how new system is different or is it?

ACER  Here is what I did/learned today.
STEPS for Downloading Pictures from I phone to Roadfood via Flickr
 
1. Open Flickr Account
2.  Download Free Flickr App to Iphone.  This will automatically sync via Safari to your computer account.
3.  On Flickr Iphone Screen Choose Camera Icon in Upper Right Hand Corner.
4.  Choose # 2 Upload from Library.  This will take you to your photograph albums.
5.  Choose picture, title on next page and Choose Green Upload Button in Bottom Right Hand Corner of Iphone screen.
6.   Once upload is finished Move to Computer.  Open Tab for Roadfood and one for Flickr.
7.  Open Roadfood and Ready screen to post message. 
8.  Open Flickr and Choose Photo from Middle of Screen, Image will load on new Page.
9.  Right click on Image - Pop Up:  Choose View Size (800)  Image will adjust.
10.  Back to Roadfood Choose Green Computer - Insert/Edit Image Icon Pop Up Will Open
11.  In Flickr Tab  Right Click on Adjusted Image Pop Up:  Choose # 3 - Copy Image Location
12.  Go back to Roadfood Paste the results from Copy Image Location in Place for URL
13.  Press Insert
14.  Post Message.

There is a much easier way to place photos from an iPhone into message boards like Roadfood.com. My Eggs post above was done this way
 
1. Download the Photobucket app for the iPhone. (previously done)
2. Open a Photobucket.com account. (previously done)
3. Open the Photobucket app. It will ask you if you want to upload new photos you took. (previously done)
4. Upload (previously done)
5. Tap My Albums
6. Select photo.
7. Tap the "i" info icon.
8. It will bring up 4 URL links, Email/M, Direct, HTML and IMG.
9. Tap on the IMG link which copies it.
10. Open Safari browser and go to Roadfood.com and reply to a thread. Paste copied IMG link.
 
I've got accounts with just about every photo service available and can reference just about any one of them but I find Photobucket the easiest to use and use it almost exclusively for IMG referencing for message boards, Most all my photos in Photobucket are defaulted to the 640 x 480 size for this purpose.

Davydd that does look easier.  No sure I can read Roadfood on my iphone, might have to get my eyeglass prescription renewed.

This thread has validity. That other thread did not address the issues of posting directly from a smartphone that this thread addresses.

That wasn't really my point. The thread was bumped up for no other new information than to say that someone else's information works. 
 
I don't understand the point of doing that. I didn't question whether or not the thread has value. If there is a thread that has universal and continuing appeal, especially to new members, perhaps one could request that the thread be made "sticky." But, bumping a thread for no reason confuses me.
