Does anyone have a good alternate sauce recipe to go on a Gyro. I can't stand the sauce made with yogurt and cucumbers - but I love the sandwich, usually I just get a spicy brown mustard on it.

Like a Mediteranian cheese steak. Or maybe sour cream and you favorite soup mix. joe

Here is the recipe that I often use for sauce for gyros. 1 cup mayonaise 1 lime, juiced 1 tablespoon minced capers (chopped olives also work) 1 teaspoon dried oregano Mix well and refigerate until using.........best to make it ahead of time.
