I have many of these menus from all around the country. I usually pick one up when I visit a restaurant (particularly "roadfood"-type) when I'm out of town on business, as a way to remind me of the place in case I ever return, or need to make a recommendation to friends. I keep them in my travel file at work.
We generally only have pizza delivered at home.
My favorite Chinese-American restaurant delivers, but not to my area (it's quite a distance from my house), so we have to drive up and get carry-out if we want to eat it at home. We always take either a cooler or an insulated bag to keep the food hot.
Many of the local Chinese places in South Minneapolis send out menus in the mail, in those Valpak coupon mailings, or have some guy drop them off on our doorstep. When I got one from a Chinese place that was about 10 minutes from my house, I ordered from it, once, because they had an unusual egg foo yong combination (mushrooms and peapods!) that intrigued me. Unfortunately, the delivery took forever and although the food did arrive fairly hot, the quality wasn't good enough for me to order from there again.
