Has anyone here love durian fruit?

Hi all, I like to eat so much. I hope there are some people here also love it. I made a durian fruit blog and would like to update the information about where to buy durian fruit in the US...Could anyone guide me or give me some useful info? I know that mostly China Towns have it...but for more places than China Towns , Where to buy fresh durian fruit in U.S.A. ? Thanks for all reply :)

There is a large grocery store on Market st. in Greensboro NC that carries it. They have alot of hard to find items from produce to seafood. Last visit they had live blue crabs. They always have durian.

I tried Durian wafer cookies, filled with some sort of a Durian flavored cream. I threw them out after one bite.
Had to throw them out because of the way they smelled.
Tasted that nasty taste all day.

The used to be a Vietnamese run gelato shop (Natsumi) in Dallas that has since done the "deep six".
They did a durian gelato that was delicious.

I eat it when i was in Thailand in 1982. ... I don't remember a smell, but always though the fruit gave me a bad case of constipation at the time. Haven't seen of it since ....

Note: It is harmful and dangerous to drink alcohol with durian.

Jungle Jim's International market in Fairfield, OH has had durian for sale every time I have been there, and that is about once a month for the past 15 years.
