BQCooker We do just a little bit of fried vending and are looking into extending our oil life...so i've been looking here and on the internet and found this from webstrauntstore. So far, we are frying Oreos, Honey Buns and Pickles...thats about all we are doing...and cooking in 2-3 hr increments at a local baseball stadium. We are just getting our feet wet in this type of venue. MirOil P36B Frypowder Anyone use it? Something like it? Alternatives? Thanks alot
I don't currently fry anything, but did a few years ago and bought a product from a local company (name escapes me) and it seemed to work ok. But it was pretty expensive and when I figured in the cost it was plus or minus a few dollars to the cost of changing oil a little more often. I just went back to filtering and changing oil.
One other thought if your holding your oil at 375 and not for long periods of time your oil if filtered should last quit some time as is. And I agree if they buy it keep frying and selling what ever it is. Especially if it's an add on to a regular order.
Edit to add I think "DEATH-ON-A-STICK" would sell like hell. I love the name.
