I read the survey today and could not figure out what some of the food stuffs were, but Benedictine spread sounded interesting? What is this Kentucky speciality?

Thank you, Mr. Hoffman. I was thinking of the liqueur Benedectine, but thought, nay, that cannot be. It is not an American southern speciality. Nor originate from those parts. I am glad the link you sent me tells me why they got that name.

Sounds like American version of tzatziki sauce, substituting onion for garlic. Buddy

I voted for bourbon balls. I figured it would be an underdog...and I bet they are good and strong.

From the name, I thought it was made from some cheese ,made by benedictine monks or nuns, because that was the first thing that came to mind.
