X1 asked to have this posted (she's at work):

OK! I will make the reservations today at lunchtime!

See you all there!

(PS - please post that I will make the reservations for 7/7.30 in the thread! Thanks!)

OH..and also please add that there is road construction on that part of Packard Ave, but you can still get to the restaurant.

Thank you! We're looking forward to it.

Our GPS puts us there about 7:20, assuming all semis keep their wheels on the road :-)

Thanks for a lovely evening at Polonez, Kopp's, and the Safe House. Polonez was a great choice; the food was excellent (I even quite enjoyed my tripe soup, which I was not certain I would), and it was quiet enough that we could have a great conversation. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

What was the name of the paper MilwFoodLover mentioned as a source for locating a chicken booyah fundraiser?

I'm not sure of the name but most bars and restaurants in the Sheboygan area carry it. The coverage goes up to Green Bay and hopefully you'll find something available. Nice meeting you two.

I really enjoyed meeting you guys.  It was a great evening, good food and company.   For some reason Roadfooders are always nice people.  I suspect it's because people that eat good food are happy people .   Yeah, I liked Polonez a lot, they really took care of us.  Glad you enjoyed it too!

Booyah has been a challenge. I didn't manage to find a copy of the Entertainer at a useful time. I did read it online late this evening, and I don't see any mention of booyah.

We tried following up ScreamingChicken's lead: the Bay Family Restaurant closed at 8, just as we pulled up. They were willing to sell me booyah to go, but only in quarts.
The Golden Basket across the street only sells booyah on Mondays.

I've gotten a line on a place called the Booyah Shed and Grill, but we missed them tonight and they don't open til 4:30 on Thursday.

But we got really lucky with fresh cheese curds, so I mustn't complain.

Unlike a real Sheboygan double brat served on a City Bakery hard roll, your life will still be complete without tasting booyah. I don't want to imply that it isn't tasty or not worth trying; it is, just not that unique to what you'd imagine a chicken stew to taste like. Hopefully, you were able to stop at Beernstens. http://beerntsens.com/

We didn't stop, because we assumed they'd be closed when we went through at 7:30.

Thanks everyone -- it was great to meet (or see) ALL of you!

We missed the candy store, but we watched cheese being made and got a bag of the freshest curds we are likely to ever taste -- they were from that morning's milk! Lots more details and pictures to follow one of these days :-)
