Sorry for my absence, guys. Going through some work drama that ended this week *whew* Annie, I'm going to keep editing this post, along with my research. LOVE the idea of Groppi's. I was thinking, if we start in Bay View, we can zip to Dr Dawg's, then make our way back to Bay View for dinner. Each name of the restaurant can be clicked to see a menu. Honeypie!!! 2643 S Kinnickinnic Ave Milwaukee, WI 53207 Then a little shopping, and maybe some more brunch. lol 1441 E Russell Ave Milwaukee, WI 53207 Then some GREEN RIVER um, LUNCH, in Glendale. 6969 N Port Washington Rd Glendale, WI 53217 Then: Lakefront Brewery Tour 1872 N Commerce Street Milwaukee, WI 53212 Saturday, October 20 11:00am 11:25am 11:50am 12:15pm 12:40pm 12:40pm 1:05pm 1:30pm 1:55pm 2:20pm 2:45pm 3:10pm Cost for the Brewery Tour is $7 and includes: a Souvenir Pint Glass, & four 6oz pours of beer. Tours that start before 4pm also include a coupon for 1 free beer, before 6pm, at any of these locations: Bar Louie, Brocach, Champion's Pub, G-Daddy's BBC, The Garage/Balzac, Hosed on Brady, Hybrid Lounge, Karma Bar & Grill, Milwaukee Brat House, Motor @ Harley Davidson, Nomad, Stubby's, The Tracks, Wicked Hop, & Wolski's Tavern. Of these ^^ choices, I would choose The Wicked Hop. 345 North Broadway Milwaukee, WI 53202 Next: a tapas bar: Ginger 235 S 2nd St Milwaukee, WI 53204 On to our dinner stop: Riviera Maya 2258 S Kinnickinnic Ave Milwaukee, WI 53207 And finally, dessert at a new place: Babe's Ice Cream 2264 S Kinnickinnic Ave Milwaukee, WI 53207 Here is a map of the festivities. The only choice above I'm not wild about is the Brewery Tour. At least with the Sprecher's tour, they had soda. For someone who can't have alcohol, a brewery tour seems like a waste of time that could be better spent elsewhere. (The boat tour would've been fun because it's on a boat. But 3 hours on a boat to see 2 breweries no one wants to see just to wait for the one you guys wanted to see wasn't appealing either.) Not to mention I grew up here, "This is how we make beer" just isn't as fascinating since you can drive past Marquette & *not* smell the yeast in the air now. I realize I'm in the minority, though. The other thing is, if we do a Brady Street Tour next spring, it makes more sense to add the Brewery Tour in at that time, logistically. So here is what I need from you, Contingent & future Contingent members: Headcount Brewery Tour: Spring Tour for sure??
