Cliff, Voss BAR B Q in Yorkville, NY is somewhat similar. No phone, no street address since 1938. They do have a neon sign and the big milk bottle on top but their business has pretty much been word-of-mouth for decades. They only (relatively) recently added picnic tables about 10 years ago.

Michael - it is somewhat ironic that we were coming from Mamie's, which as Cliff mentioned was very good! So I guess we had a good beginning...
