We were in Raleigh a month or so ago to attend Roger Waters, The Wall .  We met the family at Poole's Diner for Sunday brunch.   They also own Beasley's and Chucks.  If you haven't been to Poole's-you are missing out!!  The long wait line is worth it.  I could tell that the owner is a friend of the owner of Charleston's Husk.  Wonderful food and a changing menu makes it hard to choose what to eat.

Poole's is awesome. Ate there twice while in Raleigh. Are you familiar with Big Ed's diner in the same area? Best breakfast sausage we heve ever had...

Yes , I have eaten at Big Ed's.  The restaurant at the Farmers Market also has a great breakfast.
