Home of Da Smoke has moved

For the locals who live in the San Antonio area, Home of Da Smoke BBQ  has moved to the Adkins Junction Strip Mall at US Hwy 87 and Loop 1604. A reviewer on Yelp dated 6-6-2011 mentioned they had moved to a bigger place, but the food was still the same. Still want to go down there and try it sometime.

I still cannot figure out where they are located and I tried calling the phone number on the site review and it is out of service. Do you have reliable updated information on this place? I was hoping to drive out myself.

That has the out-of-service phone number, as well. If you look at the comments posted, it is hard to tell if they are still open or not.

I found another place, Two Brothers BBQ here in San Antonio that was very good, if not a touch pricey. They are on the Texas Monthly Top 50 list.

    Thanks, CK!

Imagine the horror if I had driven all the way to Adkins only to find the place closed. What kind of moron would do that?

I have no clue, if there was such a moron we might have to name that experience after him.
