Currito on McDougal in NYC

The Kati Roll place on MacDougal is very popular and the line there was very long a couple of nights ago. A clever and very nice young Sikh has opened another Indian-roll take-out place right next door, calling it Currito. I had a chicken curry in a burrito from this guy and it was just excellent. I had never had chicken curry in a restaurant that was nearly as good as chicken curry in someone's home, where it can be slow-cooked. Well this guy slow-cooked it and slow-cooked it very nicely. He seemed to also have tandoori. He want to specialize in not-too-greasy Indian food, all in wraps so you can carry it out and chow down as you walk around the Village.

Good to know. I was on MacDougal twice in the past week. A suggestion: edit the title to read Currito on MacDougal Street in NYC. I'm guessing a fair amount of people on the site may not know that it's NYC you're taking about. A belated welcome to Roadfood!! Looking forward to more posts!
