M and I were in Buffalo over the weekend and among our stops was the great Ted's of Tonawanda.  While we were eating, I referred to our beverage, local favorite loganberry

as "bug juice".  She gave me a look and I explained to her that Jane & Michael Stern once referred to loganberry as tasting "like bug juice at sleep-away camp."  This is such a great description, it has apparently entered my vocabulary.  Anyone else out there have a favorite Stern phrase or food description?
