Pigiron, I agree with you.  I ate a slider ONCE and found it vile.  I would never put that on my Thanksgiving table or any other table for that matter!

The slider has its place, but not on any Thanksgiving table in any way, shape or form!

It's really just a basic stuffing recipe...I substitute country sausage and oysters in mine, but I bet you couldn't even tell it contained sliders once it had been cooked in the bird. Regardless, I'll never go there.

'm sure you could tell-especially since I make oyster stuffing.

You Southerners could substitute Krystals for the White Castles! Yummy!

My son turns 22 on Thanksgiving Day. So my kids and their friends get to select something from the White Castle Thinking Outside the Box Cookbook.

The recipe was actually in the coupon section of our Sunday paper yesterday. I'll be nice and say I'll pass.

Omit the celery and I'll give it a try...

...or maybe I'll just skip the turkey altogether and eat a dozen WCs instead.

I'd take a visit to the White Castle (even the one with the bulletproof glass) on Thanksgiving before I had to have sweet potatoes under a marshmallow mountain.

I don't do White Castle on Thanksgiving, but I always eat at the Waffle House on that day. I've been doing it for 30 years.

Yeah, that's when I first saw it too.  I thought that was what had triggered this topic.   Sounds nasty to me!

Sounds better than turkey and dressing.  Way to go Michael.  If my daughter had not invited Roz, Mamaw and Sundancer, I would have enjoyed Waffle House.

Oh, Waffle House is for breakfast or a lunch of a patty melt and some chili. Turkey and stuffing comes later.

Marshmallows in my house are nothing but a yam delivery device. One thing I've learned after becoming a parent: a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down.  Translation: you do what you gotta do to get them to eat their veggies.  I hide vegetables in everything.

I snuck everything in juice and made them go be it and count until whatever number they knew....at that age. They only claimed the juice was broken when I went a little too heavy with parsley...or any grapefruit.

A wonderful new White Castle recipe debut for the Birthday....White Castle Banana Pepper Poppers. God help me.

Have you tried Red Garnet Yams? Much sweeter and better than the standard variety.

I've made it several times, its great but I won't make it anymore.  I just make hamburger stuffing.  And yes to above, the red garnet yams is what I use too for the sweet potato casserole.
