In honor of "Mr. Food"

As many of you know "Mr Food" Al Ginsberg passed away a few days ago at age 81 from complications with cancer. While probably not a gourmet he had many recipes that were easy to make and made use of ingredients on hand. I enjoyed his short segments on TV throughout the years so tonight to honor his passing I made his Turkey pot pie from leftovers. 2 cups leftover turkey 2 cups leftover veggies 2 1/2 cups gravy 1/4 teaspoon each onion powder and black pepper. Buy a package of 2 refrigerated 9" pie crusts. Mix turkey, veggies, gravy and spices in a bowl. Unroll one pie crust in a deep pie plate and dump all the mixture in. Unroll 2nd crust and lay over the mixture. Smooth and crimp the edges. Bake at 400 for about 40-45 minutes Let set 10 minutes before serving. Ummmm Good! RIP Mr. Food.
