This afternoon in San Francisco, at the Hog Island Oyster Company.
Shucking the oysters.
The sampler platter---4 each of 6 different types of oysters, approximately 1/2 of the types were from their own oyster beds.
Hog Island Sweetwaters, Tomales Bay, CA.
Mignonette sauce, with a little bit of cilantro and fresh jalapeño.
OK, I hope this will hold everyone until Wintzells. I know it satisfied me!
