During cold weather, you may need to warp the tanks with heat blankets to make the tanks produce a steady supply of gas vapor. ... When you see frost on the tank or gas line, it is a clue gas vapor is being used faster than the tank can produce it.
What many people do not understand or realize is the LP tank is a boiler just like a steam/water boiler. The heat source is the ambulant air temperature. Therefore, the size of tank maters and tanks can only produce gas vapor at a certain rate. Google 'generator joe' and look at the lp tanks charts.
The 4th gas guy that showed up to work on your system, did not know what he was doing. He should have been able understand the problem on seeing the size of tank connected without any testing. He was ($15/hour) helper that just knew how to connect lines and light pilot lights and did not know gas systems. ... not worth the $225 he charged you. ... The first 3 guys that didn't show up, 'might' have known enough that they didn't want to get involved.
Since you are handing out $$$, send me $150 for the free work. ... hahaha ... I didn't even have to see the system to know what the problem was. A 30lb tank wont work.
