The Layover

I'm watching Bourdain's new series, The Layover, for the first time. I sure hope buffetbuster is getting paid ample royalties, because the show is essentially his life story. Head to a city for 30 to 36 hours, eat at more places than anyone thinks is possible, then post a report.

Eden Eats has already been doing this. And she's much cuter than Bourdain.

I think it was The Layover where his wife was featured, she's a MMA fighter, professional, really!

I like Bourdain but BB is better and more complete. His last report certainly shows that. I do not think BB drinks and smokes like Bourdain does though. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

I think you're correct Paul. bb is also lacking in strip club trip reports.

The Hotlanta show that I watched last night, Tony and Alton Brown ended up in a "Gentlemans Club", Alton had his stack of $1's and was ready to make it rain.

Bourdain quit smoking over a year ago but I'm not a Layover fan. I cringe at the thought of him on a network show.

chefbuba The Hotlanta show that I watched last night, Tony and Alton Brown ended up in a "Gentlemans Club", Alton had his stack of $1's and was ready to make it rain. The moment when the camera panned back and you realized Alton was still with him actually made me laugh out loud. I would have loved to have seen the footage of the discussion that got him to go along. Bourbon can do wonderful things apparently.
