Near as I can tell, everyone's issue with the halftime show was the talent chosen, not the production, no? I don't care for her, so I muted it and just watched the production. Of course, I'm biased since that's what I do for a living and I know the ungodly hours and manpower that went into it, but I thought it was excellent! On mute.
Tide was my favourite commercial, hands-down. Followed by the Doritos princesses commercial. The Budweiser clydesdale was pretty good, and as I've said elsewhere while I liked the whole Paul Harvey farmer commercial for what it was, it failed miserably for product recognition. Could've been for just about anything until the last three seconds, and most people I've talked to don't remember what it was for. Even those who do don't remember the product correctly.
