John Tes- I am leaving for a trip to Fort Myers later this week and may sneak across the bridge to Cape Coral to check out a couple of places. If I do, I will report back.

Skip One Seafood on the 41 in South Fort Myers, not a fancy place and sometimes has long lines. What kind of ambiance are you looking for?

John Tes- Sorry, but I never made it across the bridge into Cape Coral, spending all my time in either Fort Myers or on Sanibel. If you are willing to drive to Fort Myers, the previously mentioned Skip One Seafood is a casual place with outstanding food. Just beware the long lines!

Head down to Everglades City and get some fresh seafood and stone crab right on the water at City Seafood. Or just north of Marco Island, go to Isle of Capri and hit up the Capri Fishhouse or Gypsy Cafe.
