I've had their salsas, which I liked, but I haven't seen this anywhere. I like the fact I can read and understand all of the ingredients, but it's got an awful lot of sodium in it. I'll probably still try it if I can find it though.
1) My wife got it at Whole Foods
. But, Wal-Mart
carries Bayless' Frontera products as well, so I'll look for it the next time I'm there and save a few $$$. (Mrs. Metro doesn't "do" Wal-Mart).
2) Another good thing I forgot to mention is that part of the directions is to "add salt to taste
". We didn't add any and it was just fine. In fact, one of my 'pet peeves' is salt - it's easy to add, but impossible to subtract.
I've had a number of restaurant meals - especially here in Texas - that were ruined by over-salting in the kitchen. Prime Texas offender in this crime are Texas Roadhouse and Romano's Macaroni Grill. And the Hell of it is, I like salt! Just not too much.
