Awesome
Thanks Chef.

I've made no secret on these boards that I love Dixie Freeze. Even blogged about it.

I love that article, not just because I love these old places, but also because it's sent about forty people to my blog to read about Bowen's!  I very much hope that I'll be visiting Kreme Delight in mid-June.

Too bad there weren't any in South AL. It sounds neat. Thanks scrumptious chef!

The nearest I'm aware of to south Alabama is Mrs. Story's in Opelika, but that's still a good three or so hours from Mobile.  Then again, I'm no expert and there's a lot of barely-covered territory there.  There could be a canyon full of dinosaurs twenty minutes either side of I-65 and I doubt anybody would know about it.
