The BBQ Dragon is a fire-starting tool that starts charcoal faster than a chimney without using lighter fluid, controls the heat of grills and smokers, revives smoldering fires, and scares cats off of counters. It works by blowing large amounts of low-velocity, cool air at fires, providing them with more oxygen so they burn hotter and faster. It's cordless, hands-free and portable so you can use it tailgating and camping or at the beach. It works for grills, smokers, fire pits, fireplaces, wood stoves, and more.

I think I might want one to scare the cat away.

Maybe the Slimey Limey Kitchen Peddlers will buy them as giveaways with every re-model they sell!

It looks a little like a weak (as I gasp!) hair dryer.

I find that a pair of bellows works well for scaring the cats off the counter. I wonder if they'd be of any use in getting a fire started.

We were sent a little dust blower to try out at my company to see if we wanted to sell them... it's so loud I won't use it in the office, and too weak to blow much dust out of computer cases and components anyway... but it does an awesome job on charcoal. It's cordless so I don't have to pull out the hair dryer. Gets a charcoal chimney blazing in no time.

That's why God invented chimney starters.

Weber Performer is the normal charcoal kettle with a gas starter. Best of both worlds.

I don't know everything but how can cool air start a fire?

Screw it, use propane.
