Stew meat or cubed top or bottom round.
Carrots, celery onions and chopped garlic.
thyme, parsley, rosemary, bay leaf
salt and pepper to taste

This is one version with the beef stew served open face on a piece of bread with mashed potatoes and hot vegetables. I like a bulk vegetable with a gravy based entree........Good luck.
