Here at the MC Ranch, bbq is taken seriously, even if done on a gas grill...and the same goes for my sauce...

This is my sauce for this weekend...

½ cup OT's BBQ Sauce
½ cup J Lee Roy's Dippin Sauce

¼ cup La Victoria Green Taco Sauce

¼ cup dark brown sugar
2 Tbls Worchester Sauce
1 Tbls Liquid Hickory Smoke
1 Tbls Applewood Smoked Salt
1 Tbls Dried Onion Flakes
2 tsp  Dry Onion Powder
2 tsp  Dry Garlic Powder
1 tsp  Crushed Red Pepper flakes
1 tsp ground black pepper

Mix well, use as a marinade, cooking sauce, or on the side...

I don't know why the text format went wonky...it looked ok while composing it...

Sounds damn good, although I've always a hard time using Liquid Smoke!

Salsa Verde?  Seems out of place, but I believe you!

I don't totally equate the the green taco sauce with true salsa verde...'

The green taco sauce is mild, but it, along with the crushed red pepper flakes and black pepper give it a nice but mello back taste after the initial sweet taste...

And the honey is what gives it more dimension...

The liquid smoke combines well with th ehoney & brown sugar...easy to over-do-it if you don't use it sparingly...the base bbq sauces already have *some* hickory flavor...

I like the hickory flavor but find the mesquite liquid smoke to be too acrid for my taste...

What is 'ehoney' and where do I get it?    What kind of bee makes this?  ...  I think this will compliment Bay Corn well ...

"ehoney" is:   (choose one)

1)...honey you get on line...

2)...a racy email from your sweetie...

3)... what you get when the space bar on the keyboard is pressed too soon...

(I'm often clumsy at the keyboard)
