Why on earth would you try and rob him.  I am glad he is ok and will be in shape for training camp and the season.

But come on stoopid criminals dropping your cell phone while robbing a HUGE professional athlete, I would be afraid to go to sleep at night in fear of waking up and seeing his hulking frame lurking in the shadows.

As mother always says, " Nothing good ever happens after Midnite!"
All these reports of nasty stuff happening with Athletes--99.9% of them happen after midnight!

He was robbed while sitting in his truck; it is probable that the robbers didn't even realize how big he was until it was too late.

A real shame.  Strangely, he didn't even have his car keys, which were apparently locked up by a valet.  This area is well known for the large crowds it draws because of all the bars and restaurants.  Unfortunately, that also draws out the criminal element and the drunks make an easy target.
