RFer Tiki & Family are safe from the storms Wed, 06/5/13 8:05 PM (permalink)
Just got a pm back from Tiki, I was wondering how they were and if the tornados swept them away.

"All is well---a little messy and we were gone to New England for a lot of the worst of it---but lawn is overgrown-branches to clean up--ponds are overflowing--the road into town was flooded for two days--but now back to normal--which means we wait for the next one! :)"

I am glad they are safe and that there was no significant damage.

Well--safe--but--the dome has taken a beating---wind and tree damage to roof that has HUNDREDS of seams means that there are LOOTS of leaks ----and---its getting old stopping them--LOVED living in a dome these past ten yrs--but alas leak repair and the stairs up to the loft are getting to me--so--pooks like we will be dismantling the dome and building a cabin--with stadard roof lines--and a steel roof!!!!---and no stairs---sad---and expensive---but--the trip home was awesome!!---more omn that later--REAL busy around here!

Tiki:  I guess it really did a number on you.  Sounds like you will be under destruction (construction) for a pretty long time.
