Name for a larger drink - Tue, 07/9/13 9:03 PM
0
I have been thinking on adding a larger drink for some time, but a name for it has eluded me until today. Sonic has their Route44, 7-11 has their Big Gulp. So I think I have finally come up with a name but I dont think people down South would get it.... I don't think they would get it at all... LOL

Sorry... silly mood day....

I was just going to suggest "Big Ass"...... When I do my burrito specials, it weighs in at a pound & a half +++....
What else to call it but the "Big Ass Burrito" The name has stuck and people call up all the time asking for it by name.

IKR!!! I do one with a 14", finishes off about 10"+/-. Never weighted it tho.  I have a Quesadilla dip sauce that's named "Crack Sauce" because it's addictive..  I even have cops come up and ask "Are you selling Crack today"..ROFL (Life's too short not to have some fun) Tasteless, but fun. Of course I do have the few that won't buy because of my name. To that I say, go next door...

As a teenager we'd go to the local 7-11 and get their 64oz fountain pop.  We had our own name for it, "The Bladder Buster".

You could call it, "Banned In NY City" or "Bloomberg Blather Buster".

We have a company here in town the sells a big burrito. His signs all say "A Burrito Bigger than Your Head."

Chef, Or anyone else that wants to jump in,
Not wanting to get in trouble for stealing a thread again, but there are often discussions on here about not putting refrigeration equipment right next to a grill. But what about the Grill stand units with refrigeration units underneath. You know the drawer type like this.

By the way I like the big drink name and I think people would talk about it. Always a good thing.

I love it WarToad & jrman !!!!! Love keeping the customers talking...  I would give that JA a lifetime supply coupon...
I offered Mojito once in my early days. Everyone was talking, "how did a mobile get a liquor licence".. I let it go on for 3-4 weeks before I actually sold them. I even had the State call me.  Best advertising campaign I ever did. lol

ps my bread is on trays under the griddle, coolest spot in the truck (if your ventilation is done correctly)

Again-not to step on any toes by being a little off topic but in response to your question these coolers are great.  Used them many, many times.  So much more efficient and convenient!  As for the heat usually it's of very little concern.  Most of the heat is directed upwards towards the cooking surfaces so things stay reasonable underneath-provided the appropriate space is allowed between the bottom of the equipment and the cooler.  Also these coolers seem to be better insulated on the tops and it helps out with heat transfer.

They're great units and make for great cooler space!  Hope that helps

"Bloomberg Blather Buster".

PERFECT!

I wonder what Bloomie thinks about the latest study that says that salt is no longer bad for one's health?

As Bloomie has just about exhausted his possibilities for silliness, I can't wait for Weiner to rise to power!
