Sink Size?

Talked with my HD rep this afternoon about my new cart.  All is good, except for the size of the sink.
I had planned on using a SS bowl 10" across and about 6 inches deep; the faucet is a high rise that will keep the faucet about 8" above the surface of the sink.  No go.
He wants to see something "9X9X9" to assure that my hands get 'down there'.
I've checked all over, and can't seem to locate anything like that.
Any suggestions.
I should add, the HD rep is a good guy and I don't want to cause any ripples.
Any ideas I could use?  Thanks in advance for any help.

Is this a hand wash sink? If so, there is no reason for it to be 9" deep.
From the WA state retail food code:
No mention of a 9" depth requirement.

You might ask him what he would suggest because most small hand sinks are well within the 9x9x9.
 
Prima has one that is 9x9x5. Unless he wants it a bit deeper than the rounded 6 inches
 
what about a 6 inch deep hotel pan?
