Aluminum or cast iron burners??

    what are you using the burners on? i have not used any al burners just cast and ceramic

    if burners then cast, stainless or ceramic
    Yes they are more expensive but you replace them less
     
    The AU ones will break down over time with high heat

    I have both stainless and cast.
     
    I like them both, the cast wears for ever, if it gets rusty wire brush and elbow grease and your back to cast.
     
    Stainless is great again with elbow grease it can be bright and shiny, good for show.
     
    What type of application are you going to use the burner?

    Depends on the application of the burner.   The cast iron can get much hotter without melting.   but, for use in grills and cooking applications either will work OK.
