Brunch on the CT coast - Sun, 09/1/13 3:43 PM

Today I drove down to Mystic, CT to meet a friend for brunch.   We ate at a place called Kitchen Little.  Google's first address for the establishment was incorrect, which was a shame, since it was right off I-95.  The new address was considerably more difficult to get to and required careful navigation through some tiny residential areas; I imagine it fits the Roadfood spirit a little better, though!

My gingerbread pancakes:

Home fries:

My friend's breakfast burrito:

A nice relaxing view - actually my first view of the water (other than the Connecticut River) since I moved here:

A "lemon sauce" and real whipped cream!  Tasty tasty.

Here are a few more views from our table. Man, if I lived along the coast I'd eat by the water all the freaking time. At least it's not much of a drive from Middletown. :)

ooooh Yum a lemon sauce on gingerbread, that would be a good combo.

I love the water view, whether it be bayou, river, bay or ocean.
Just a relaxing view.
