Am I the only one here who does NOT like Clark Bars? I have never liked them.

They were mentioned in Hocus Pokus I believe. They called them "Clark Fingers."

I've never cared for the Clark bar either. To me it's just a mediocre imitation of a Butterfinger.

Of the three peanut butter crunch candy bars (Clark, Butterfinger and Fifth Avenue) I probably prefer the Clark Bar, since it's the only one of the three that hasn't switched over to a "mockolate" coating.  That being said, it was never one of my favorites.

I much prefer the Clark bar vs. Butterfinger.

My favorite is actually the Clarks coconut bar (better than any other candy bar, IMO).  Unfortunately, they have not only been a seasonal item in recent years (around Halloween), but this year, it appears they are not even being produced.

Last year, they were only available in a triple pack (Clark Bar Wicked Mix - snack bars along with milk and dark chocolate Clarks bars) where I bought up a number of the triple packs, kept the coconut bars and passed out the others for halloween.

I Clark Bars; they are one of the few candy bars I actually crave on occasion these days (Forever Yours and almond Joy are the other two).

But they're a little hard to find down here in Dallas.  Central Market carries them in their 'hard-to-find' candy selection; so does Cracker Barrel and a wonderful local Mom & Pop popcorn & candy shop here in McKinney:  http://www.momandpopcorn.com/ ; I'm guessing they are one of the major reasons why USA Today named us "the second best place to live in the U.S."!

I like Clark bars very much, but I love Zagnut bars even more. Zagnut bars have coconut inside, and were one of my favorites growing up. Both were originally made in Pittsburgh PA for many years.

I don't see Clark Bars at all in our area. I don't recall them from my youth....

When I was just a kid growing up, I loved Fifth Avenue bars. But now, they're making them completely different from 60 years ago.

I like all the peanut crunch bars.  Clark was my fave when I was younger but now I probably prefer Butterfinger.  I remember being in the former Clark Bar factory in Pittsburgh and converted to a really nice club.  THat was years ago.

I like Clark bars and have one on occasion, but I prefer 5th Avenue if i'm going for the peanut butter and choclate bar. Butterfingers come in last.

Back in the day when a nickel bought a HUGE Clark bar, they actually had a caramel center, surrounded by the peanut butter crisp and were double dipped in luscious milk chocolate with an added chocolate drizzle on top...  At that time, after Butterfingers came out - - a true Clark Bar 'person' would never be satisfied with the cheap imitation....  The 5th Avenue was my mother's favorite, but I think that was because of the 3 or 4 hunks of almond on top....  I still prefer Clark Bars and ZagNut was a close second...  I have been able to find varieties of Clark bars, including dark or white chocolate covered ones, in Dollar stores or the like....  And as a Pittsburgher, they always make me nostalgic for 'home'.......

If it has nuts in it I pass. I like nuts as nuts. I don't want them in my food or candy -- or cookies, cakes, pies or ice cream.

Love Zagnut bars! Sometimes hard to find here in the Wash. DC region. Used to love Clark bars, but since they are hard to find, happy with Butterfinger.

Yes I do like them.  I have not had them in ages, since I was probably 10 or so but I remember I liked them then.

I don't like them either, but I still remember the TV commercial and little jingle at the end of it.

Vermont Country Store always has a lot of nice foodstuffs. Check their website. I don't know how to do a link.

If you have a JoAnn's Fabrics store near you, you can find Clark Bars in the candy section near the cash registers.

I like Clark bars, but rarely find them in the DC area. I do love Zagnut!

Seems like places such as JoAnn that was stated above, carry candy from many years ago.  I know that Michaels carrys a lot of the older candies.

They sell them on campus at Clark University too. There is no relation, but Clarkies as the grads call themselves, are a very loyal bunch.
