If you follow the link you'll see that is a gallon jar so the size of the onion is considerably larger than a cocktail onion. Speaking of cocktail onions, I drink gibsons but it is difficult to get a good cocktail onion. They used to be in a salt brine but most now are preserved in vinegar. Salt brine onions are very good but he vinegar has ruined it for me. Every brand that I've used has switched over Red Mill, Dell's and now Cosmo's. I now buy Cosmo's and drain the vinegar and replace with water and salt and repeat about 8 times to get a reasonably decent onion.
