Rick Garrett has had a few in Indiana.
Don't blame Rick for the assumption by the writer. There is a version touted by Iowans known as the Iowa Skinny, but there isn't a lot of difference in BPTs across Indiana, Illinois and Iowa. They all serve them thick and thin, large and small, and they all have their klinkers known as fritters. The largest tenderloins I have had, and they are by no means thin, were in St. Olaf, Iowa and Leonore, Illinois.
I'm just amazed that the people in the three states know so little about the others' tenderloin and they would all be embarrassed by the tenderloin served at the Udder End Cafe in Boonville, Missouri.
