We have been in Kansas City for 3 weeks and have had a steady diet of BBQ, steak and fried chicken. NOW we need to hear about the best thin crust pizza in this area. We can do it by trial and error, but Roadfooders have pointed us in the right direction many times.

D'Bronx on 39th and Bell has very good NY style pizza. They also make really fine sandwiches.

As someone who has spent years in the pizza business in the Kansas City area, I can definately second the recommendation for the D'Bronx. Other places to go depending on what part of town you are in are;

1. Stone Canyon in Parkville - Upscale Gourmet
2. Wood Roasted Pizza in Lee's Summit - Ditto
3. The Other Place Pizzaria in Overland Park - Sports Bar
4. Ken's Pizza in Lee's Summit - Family oriented
5. Waldo Pizza in Kansas City - Ditto
6. The Pizzamaker in Lenexa - Ditto

The first three places do a traditional hand-tossed style crust
The fourth does a crispy soda cracker crust of medium thickness
Five and Six are thin crust, with Waldo also doing a St. Louis style

Hope this helps,

Chris
