If in St Pete, go to El Cap. It's been there for about 50 years and is always packed! It was a sports pub looong before the term came about.

I agree with Kristi on the El Cap! Good recommendation.

The best burgers in Jacksonville, FL are the burgers at the Loop Restaurants. They are big, juicy and cooked to perfection.

GAinesville - the Copper Monkey has large burgers - all the way - that are wonderful, and good cold Bud to wash it down.

I totally agree here. The University Avenue Steak Burger is wonderful. The fries are always fresh and hot. You will not leave hungry. Since I work right across the street I know!

Go to http://www.fdu.com/cburger.htm#F for a list of Cheeseburgers in Paradise. My favorite is Dockside Dave's on Gulf Blvd. in Madeira Beach (near John's Pass and Treasure Island). El Cap is excellent also.

El Cap is great. Biff Burger on 34th St in St Pete has an OK burger, but the ambience in the evening is not to be missed - right out of the 50s.

I was wondering about FatBurgers in Clw. I have not had a chance to stop there yet. Now I have a reason. Has the noodle shop opened yet kinda next door to FBs?

If you're into racing and are in Daytona, you must have a burger at the Brickyard on International Speedway (between Nova & U.S.1).
