I travel to Texas to do my first event of the year this weekend. My food products arrive in the morning, not looking forward to the "sticker shock" I will probably have when I take possession. I laminated all my prices lists, left the prices off. When I get to the event, I`ll see what the others are selling items for and adjust accordingly.

I can't see how they come off with the shipping price of produce at store as if there chaging per mile per product per ea.... when they receive a trailer full of product and the cost has already been factored in at trailer load price. 4 small tomatos in a container,12 per case, 48 cases per pallet,16 pallets on a trailer. At 2 dollars more per cantainer 24 dollars per case 1152 dollars per pallet x 16= 18432 dollars for a trailer load in extra cost. Leave them on the store self to mold and let the store eat the cost for three weeks and see if the farmer can keep them in the field longer. Doe's this mean take the T out of T ACO... Farmer gets 56 cent a pound/packer adds dollar/1.56/broker add 85 cents/241lb/ Store adds 1.20ib/sell on shelf 3.61lb

Sams and Restaurant Depot are real close on pricing in the Atlanta market. Really depends on what we need as to where we go. Restaurant Depot carries a Chefs Quality brand of pre-package condiments at abount half the cost of the name brands. We usually go to Restart Depot if we need to pick up disposable items and to Sams for buns and sodas. We haven't decided on pricing for the season.
