Hear ya there Jeepguy... I bet alot of vehicles will be in their rearview mirrors for the tour! Die Hard Chow Hounds to say the least! Just hope the establishments will be able to accompony all the extras.. Be a shame if the food joints had to turn people away... But this is a good test to see how many people are intrested! Maybe on their next jaunt, enlist a couple of busses, or more maybe??? Wish I could make it, but work has me slammed this month... I'm just crossing my fingers there's going to be plenty of stories and pictures shared with the rest of us!!!

I might cheat on this one...i live in Chicago so if you see a really tall green Jeep Cherokee from your bus window, that'll be me. Maybe i'll meet some of you!

I live in Chicago. I hope I wouldn't be penalized for that, on the other hand would it make it more convienent?

The signup process will be controlled by an inventory management system I built. The purchasing process will be similar to buying tickets for a concert. We will first have a pre-sale date/time for when tickets are going to be available for Roadfood Insider members. The remaining spots will be available to registered users a couple days afterwards.

Seating will be limited and it is possible Roadfood Insider members might not score a spot. This is our first time doing this, so if you don't make the list please try to find comfort in knowing we will be doing this at least once a year in different places around the country.

Let me reiterate, joining the Roadfood Insider does not guarantee you a spot – it only gives you access to the pre-sale.

Hey Stephen, I feel relieved, however, how are you going to control the sign-up? Maybe you should reserve the seats that we have posted for us and subtract that from your total? We were the first to ask. You hooked us in all the way and you can see we really want to be a part of this experience.

It looks like you can't sign up yet, but in the newsletter I just got, it said book fast, something about only 40 seats. I really hope I get at least 2! LOL! I have been all over the site. I hope somebody gets back to us! I am hankering for Chicago food! I have been there several times but only ate at 2 places. On foodtv they had a special about Chicago food, ymmmmmmmmmmmmm
