The problem has to be with your computer or the OS or browser you are using.
I use a Mac and have no problems at all using, Safari, Firefox or Internet Explorer.
Just go to subscriptions at the top of the page. Click on it and a page should open showing your suscribed threads. Just click on unsubscribe.

HELP!!!!
I'm being inundated with emails, and your UNSUBSCRIBE on the subscription page isn't working, and on the topic page it still says Subscribe, and not unsubscribe.
I'm now ready to quit this forum because of it, but I can't even find how to do that!!!

I have found the unsubscribe option works on my home PC but not the one at work. So the OS may have something to do with it, dctourist.

At the top (and bottom) of every topic page is some options. They are:

New Topic Reply to Topic
Subscribe to this topic
Send Topic to a Friend
Printer Friendly

For you, the second line should say, "Unsubscribe to this topic". Click on that. It should work.

Thanks. I found this, but there's something wrong with the site. Clicking "unsubscribe" didn't work.

Lets say you subscribe to a topic in the "Pizza" forums. Anytime someone posts anything in the "pizza" topic forum (any thread in that forum) you'll get an email alerting you... Really too much traffic / posts on this site to enjoy that feature... Would be nice if it was broken down to a specific sub topic only! (Example: NY PIZZA only, and not any other posts in the Pizza Forum)..

I did the same thing a while back... I beleive I turned it off via a link in the email you get.. Though it's been awhile, dont quote me.
(I thought I was subscribing to a particular topic, but anything in that category will bleep ya)...

I first subscribed to it while on my work computer, and tried to unsubscribe when I got home by clicking on Subscribe - but it didn't toggle, it gave me TWO subscriptions to the topic instead!
