﻿<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><rss version="2.0"><channel><title>Garlic chicken pasta</title><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/</link><description /><copyright>(c) Roadfood.com Discussion Board</copyright><ttl>30</ttl><item><title>Garlic chicken pasta (plantdetective)</title><description> Hello -  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; This is one of my favorite quick meals at home. &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Oven roasted chicken (have used rotisseri when not cooking alot) &lt;br&gt; olive oil &lt;br&gt; garlic &lt;br&gt; pasta - generally whole grain, not too particular about the shape, but I like something thicker with a little body - at least a linguini &lt;br&gt; Onion - sweet &lt;br&gt; salt &lt;br&gt; fresh ground black pepper &lt;br&gt; garlic powder &lt;br&gt; onion powder &lt;br&gt; optional paprika, cayenne pepper, parm cheese &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Heat skillet, add generous amounts of olive oil (its a good fat after all and it is the sauce) &lt;br&gt; add sliced onions and sautee until translucent &lt;br&gt; add 4-5(at least) large cloves of garlic smashed (i use a zyliss garlic press) &lt;br&gt; immediately add enough chicken for however many people are eating(cubes or strips work well, shredded us wrong texture) &lt;br&gt; add garlic powder, black pepper, and onion powder to taste,cook until chicken is warmed through. &lt;br&gt; Salt to taste  &lt;br&gt; Toss with warm pasta.   &lt;br&gt; Garnish with options &lt;br&gt; Serve liberally, &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; This is dinner tonight and I can't wait, it is actually one of my favorite homecooked meals, lots of fat and carbs so I dont make it too often but what a treat.  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; any recommendations for improvement?
