If price isn't a consideration, The Tillerman would be my choice for a special occasion steak (or seafood) dinner. Old Las Vegas service and more locals than tourists.

Always had good luck at Kokomos......... aint cheap but very good.

I've yet to try a ribeye. I'm a die hard porterhouse and filet guy. I keep hearing about it again and again. My time is near.

I've only been to Morton's in Vegas, but the meal was spectacular. My husband still raves about the rib eye he had. The lump crab cakes are also superb. The servoce and atmosphere were top notch! Have a nice birthday wherever you end up

B-Day Steak in Vegas Search (ledeburite)

I'm having my birthday dinner in Vegas this year and wanted to get it right. Not interested in Ruth's Chris. They brag about only seasoning with salt and pepper, so what's with the butter bath? I believe I've narrowed it down to two choices for the finest prime cut. Morton's or Charlie Palmers. Anyone been to both to give a clear winner in the thickest, most tender and flavorful piece?
