Very entertaining ( and the food looks so darn good! )
RE: Biscuitville (westley)

I love Biscuitville -- used to eat there often when I lived in Greensboro. The meals are very inexpensive, and the the food is very high quality when compared to other "fast food" breakfast places. I love the pork chop biscuits, the grits, and the potatoes.

RE: Biscuitville (Nancypalooza)

I actually forgot to add this to an NC trip report I did from October. You see an egg and cheese at top, a fried chicken bottom left and country ham bottom right. I totally think they stack up with Hardee's on the favorable side, and they're better than Bojangles.

RE: Biscuitville (surrycounty)

I just found this old thread and I had to put my two cents-worth in. Biscuitville is one of the very few chains whose food I truly enjoy. I do agree with Sundancer 7 that their biscuits aren't quite as good as Hardee's, but they are still MUCH better than the sad excuse for biscuits served by McDonald's, Burger King, and especially KFC. If the Colonel knew about those biscuits, he'd have a total meltdown. I always have at least one breakfast at Biscuitville when I'm in North Carolina, and I've never been disappointed by the food. There is a similar operation in West Virginia called Tudor's Biscuit World, and I'm a big fan of both chains.
RE: Biscuitville (emsmom)

Bojangles is one of our favorite chains here in the Piedmont NC.
They have a good gravy biscuit and the cinnamon raisin biscuits are also good. I like their cajun chicken and dirty rice. They also have some gppd seasoned fries
quote:

I posted about that a while back (years ago) to see if anyone knew anything about them. Speaking of similar, anyone familiar with Bojangles chain? I saw one in Augusta, GA several years ago but I have seen any more since.

RE: Biscuitville (Adjudicator)

I think the issue that attracted me to both was that they served their "breakfast" menu 24/7.

RE: Biscuitville (Sundancer7)

I saw several Bojangles in North Carolina this past weekend. They were at most exits.

Good hot spicy chicken.

They serve a good biscuit and chicken.

Biscuitville has a much better appearing store with a huge breakfast selection.

Paul E. I was in Durham and made a early morning stop at Biscuitville. They were jammed. I like the decor of this chain and their menu is super for breakfast and that is what I had. Their biscuits do not compare with Hardees but the rest of their food was super and their breakfast potatoes were really good. I had their breakfast platter which included a huge biscuit, scrambled eggs, grits and I got sausage with a side of gravy. More than I could consume.

A colleague got their fried chicken biscuit and it was very good.

They seem to be located mostly in North Carolina and Virginia. I have aattached their website.

http://www.biscuitville.com/

Paul E.
