Izzy Lou's was the pizza place that you mentioned! It's been there for about 3 months. I tried the Italian sub and it was pretty good. I guess pizza would be the big test. The new owners said the old pizza place was not very good.

Well, there were just 12,000 people in Gahanna when we moved here, and there are 35,000 now. And there was no four lane bridge over Big Walnut.

I lived in Gahanna since 1995 (man has it changed over time) before moving to the Johnstown area.

Small world! I used to live in Gahanna before I moved to the Johnstown area. Peggy Sue's is pie heaven.

OK. Thanks. After seeing the photos I realize that I've passed the place a bunch of times. The only place I remember in Alexandria is a pizza place on the right side of the street when heading from Johnstown towards Ohio 16. I guess I've just never noticed. I was through Alexandria just about two weeks ago. I'll pay more attention next time.

I'm new to the Johnstown area but I have eaten at both Johnstown Family Restaurant and the Main Street Cafe for breakfast. No complaints! It would be east of Mount Vernon on 36 after crossing 62. Here's a link below. Also I drove thru Alexandria and noticed a place called Izzie Lou's it looked interesting but I have not tried it.

I've never heard of Peggy Sue's or New Castle. Which side of Mount Vernon? And I see you're in Johnstown. Have you ever eaten at the Johnstown Family Restaurant or the Main Street Cafe?

Has anyone ever hrard of a place called Peggy Sue's? It's outside of Mount Vernon and has some of the tastiest pies ever!
