(enginecapt)

No Ed, never made it to the Skipper's place. My Mom would have nothing to do with seafood. In fact, my Dad and I had to eat our sardines out in the yard, she wouldn't allow them in her domicile. He let her win that battle, while putting his foot down in the battle over his playing baseball after work in the BofA league. She lost that one. As he used to say, "In marriage, a man has to choose his battles as well as which hill he's gonna die on". Good advice from the old man.

RE: Baby Boomer Food Website: A Blast From The Past. I vividly remember the taste of that candy lipstick and the Space Food Bars! Somebody even made reference to Flying Saucer candy which was perfectly tasteless. Unless, I missed it nobody mentioned those time candy "pies" that came in a tiny fluted pan with a little spoon.

Thanks for the link.

RE: Baby Boomer Food Website: A Blast From The Past.
