Photobucket works fine with the Mac Safari browser.

Photobucket may not like the Safari browser. Have you tried downloading FireFox browser and trying it?

I need some help!! First, I want to thank everyone who put me on to Photobucket.com. It's been indispensible with getting my photos on to the forums! My girlfriend just got a Mac and I'm not the most computer savvy person to say the least. I was trying to upload my photos of the Big Apple BBQ Block Party from the Mac onto my Photobucket account but I'm not having any success with it. It was easy with the PC. When I click on Upload, it keeps telling me to hit the browse button to select photos after I already have done so. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks.

I too had to ask the Mayor, call the Mayor, ask for more info and we finally figured it out. So now I'm a picture posting fool! It's actually easy (for a knucklehead like me) once you get the hang of it.

Ellen, don't feel bad at all. I have a LOT of computer experience and I couldn't figure out how to get pics from the Roadfood upload page to the forum I wanted them in. I had to ask the Mayor.

Actually I was looking for a button or another page or something. I was totally oblivious to the obvious img tags in the middle of the page.

Use a file manager or (Windows has one, but I use VCOM's PowerDesk Pro) to fimd them. Do the search by extension, those 3 letters following the dote; some of the most common are .JPG, .GIF, and .WMF. I won't be a smart-alec and tell you what to do with them!

please check out my latest hamburger photos (and bonus beach scene!), under the "top 5 burgers" thread(Hodad's burger, San Diego area)...

I got more practice this morning with my editing, as I first put one pic in, then went back to edit, and add another, etc...

I had a great teacher!

See Ellen, now wasn't that easy. he he! I'm new to this digital camera stuff also, I've got photos floating around somewhere in my computor damed if I know where they are. Even if I did find them well now what. Guess it's time to enroll in a course at the local community collage. Thats going to cut in on the cocktail hour. Good luck in your quest. Chow Jim

Did you see my post above you?

1) Host your image.
2) Copy the URL.
3) In your post, paste the URL in between image tags (you can click from editor).
4) Post.

The images have to be hosted, then, you place the URL in between image tags, which can be found in the editor.

I tried to press the copy and paste buttons, but nothing happens.
xannie just e-mailed me to tell me to press "control c" and "control v". that may be the best advice I ever got. Apparently I'm supposed to press the control button first?????

I will pay someone to come over to my condo (by atlantic city) just to walk me thru this. It can't be all that difficult, cause so many people are succeeding at it...

I really could use more detailed instructions, if there are any

Hi , it's Ellen,
I'm still trying to master how to insert some of my wonderful food pics.

I got to the point where I can now "upload a photo" from my kodak pics on my computer, and put it in the "upload photos" section.

But, how just HOW do I get it into a message board post?!?
some kind of cutting and pasting , right? Please walk me thru it!!!
