Do you add ice cream or cream on top? </description><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/fb.ashx?m=242597</link><pubDate>Tue, 17 Oct 2006 09:27:54 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Easy Apple Amber - I love it (KevinE)</title><description> I just finished cooking it, I wanted to share. &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Serves 4  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; 450g (1lb) Cooking Apples  &lt;br&gt; 110g (4oz) Sugar (or to taste)  &lt;br&gt; 2 large Eggs, separated  &lt;br&gt; Juice of 1 Lemon  &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Preheat oven to 180°C: 350°F: Gas 4.  &lt;br&gt; Peeled, core and thinly slice the apples and cook 2 tbsp of water, stirring occasionally until they form a puree.  &lt;br&gt; Separate the eggs.  &lt;br&gt; Add about ¾ of the sugar, the lemon juice and the egg yolks, mixing well.  &lt;br&gt; Place in an ovenproof dish and bake for 20 minutes.  &lt;br&gt; Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold in the remaining sugar.  &lt;br&gt; Pile the meringue evenly on top of the apple mixture, return the dish to the oven, and bake for another 10 minutes.  &lt;br&gt; Serve hot or cold </description><link>http://www.roadfood.com/Forums/fb.ashx?m=242596</link><pubDate>Mon, 16 Oct 2006 13:26:17 GMT</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
