How does one come to think of combining these?

RE: Buffet Potatoes: Great with BBQ (carlton pierre)

Hey Halfday, excellent suggestion!! Got any more aces hidden up your sleeve?

carl reitz

RE: Buffet Potatoes: Great with BBQ (halfday)

Instead of bread crumbs try topping with crushed corn flakes mixed with melted butter. I make this dish when we cook Sunday mornings at our club and the people love it. You can make it up ahead of time then just throw it in the oven when your ready.

RE: Buffet Potatoes: Great with BBQ (carlton pierre)

Darn good sounding recipe. Probably a heart attack supreme but still it sounds darn good. Frozen hash browns are a good ingredient for a lot of neat dishes.

carl reitz

Buffet Potatoes: Great with BBQ (TexasBBQRub)

Buffet Potatoes: 2 lbs. frozen hash browns, 1/2 cup melted margarine, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 pt. sour cream, 10 oz. grated cheddar cheese, bread crumbs, touch of Texas BBQ rub

Thaw potatoes about 45 minutes before assembling.
