The version I came up with is simple to make, costs less and tastes great.

Savory Tarragon Chicken Breast Salad

Ingredients:

#61656; 2 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
#61656; 1 cup Mayonnaise
#61656; 2 tsp. Fresh Finely Chopped Tarragon
#61656; ½ cup Sliced Almonds
#61656; ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
#61656; ½ tsp. Onion Powder

Directions:

Bring 2 cups of chicken broth and chicken breasts to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat, let stand in broth for 20 minutes or until cool. Shred chicken and mix all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate for one hour.
